Door maintenance.

Care of doors finished with precious wood veneer.
Interior doors, although usually made on the conscience, but require some care and compliance with the rules of operation.

Interior doors can be cleaned and washed using any compositions that do not contain abrasive. However, to ensure a longer service life of the doors, it is recommended to wash them only with special means. There are a lot of such tools today and they can be bought in any store in the department of household chemicals. In no case should you use powders, solvents or acetone for washing doors. Doors made of veneer are contraindicated acid and alkali.

After cleaning, it is recommended to treat the products with furniture polish. Pay special attention to the bottom of the door frame (box, platbands) when processing with polish. These parts of the door most often suffer from moisture when washing the floor and need special attention.
It is recommended to polish the doors at least once a year, even if your home is clean and there is no significant need to clean the doors. The polish helps to preserve your doors and increases their service life.
Experts recommend using a polish containing natural wax. This is not a cheap tool, but it lasts for a long time. One cylinder can handle 40-60 doors.

It is also not recommended to scrub the stains from the doors, even if the stain is difficult to wipe off. Any rough mechanical impact can cause scratches on the doors, which you will then have to remove for a long time and drearily. This is especially important when caring for doors that have a shiny coating.

The care of the doors with a polish is very important. After all, no matter how hard the manufacturers try to make the door as strong and durable as possible, they are not omnipotent. All materials tend to break down over time.
In the conversation about door care, this primarily applies to varnish. Over time, microscopic cracks form on the surface of the varnish, which can then turn into large ones and disfigure the door ahead of time. Grout wax polish closes these cracks and does not allow them to increase in size. Such care will significantly increase the service life of your door.

Maintenance of doors with artificial materials finishing.
Artificial finishing materials have an advantage over natural ones: they are less sensitive to the external environment. However, doors made of artificial materials are recommended to be treated with polish in the same way as doors made of natural materials. At least once a year (if you do not need to clean the door) or after each cleaning. This will ensure your doors have a long service life, and they will thankfully remind you of your care more than once with their blooming appearance.
